Smart Hire's scaffold towers are suited for both indoor and exterior use and have a variety of applications, being very popular for long/short-term maintenance and construction on residential, civil, and construction sites. Our scaffold is built of lightweight aluminium and has modular components that allow it to be transported on the back of a ute, trailer, or truck. Once constructed, the scaffolding may be moved securely using the heavy-duty lockable caster wheels, or it can be held in place with the optional base plates.

These towers are 1.2m wide and may be 2.4m or 1.8m long.  The height of the tower can range from 1.5m to 6.5m, with 0.5m increments.

Q2. When should toeboards be used on the scaffold ?

A. Toeboards are a temporary barrocade that can be added (upon request) to the scaffolds (for NO extra charge). Q3. How often does the scaffold need to be inspected ?

A. The scaffold that is used in construction should be inspected before it is installed for the first time, and after every 7 days of use until it is deconstructed. Similarly, it should be inspected prior to the testing condition such as storms, rain, and alterations to its structure.

Q4. At what heights is scaffold recommended ?

A. For the genral public it is recommended that scaffold should be installed for any heights of 1.2m (4ft) above the base level (ground); and for construction scaffold is recommended for heights above 1.8 (6ft) above base level. Fall protection i.e harness, fall arrestor & couplings are recommended for any heights above 3m (10ft).
